What Cat PFRW (160 x 200)

Articles On Any Veterinary Topic!

We are providing you a library of approximately 1500 veterinary articles you can use whenever you need to know more about your pet's condition, or as a follow-up to a visit you have had with us, or are just curious about a particular topic. You can be assured that we are giving you the most up-to-date and reputable information.

For example, say you want articles about fleas in cats. In the search box type "fleas" "cats" and hit search. The articles that appear will be all articles that include the words fleas, or cats, or fleas and cats. So there will be some articles on fleas in other species. To narrow the search, also use the drop-down list to the right. Choose "cats" and "parasites". Now when it searches, you will see only articles involving cats, and not hedgehogs!

As another example, say Dr. Hummel has just told you your dog has torn his cranial cruciate ligament. If you type "cruciate" in the box and hit search, it will bring up all the articles with that word, including cats (yes it happens to them too!). If you select "dogs" in the drop-down list, now it will eliminate the cat articles. If you further select "surgical conditions", now it will eliminate the arthritis article.

So, the more specific you want your search, enter information in the box and also use the drop down list. However, although there are now fewer articles to scan, you may also have unintentionally eliminated some articles that may be useful. So play around with it, and you will see that the less specific you make your criteria, the more articles you will see. If you know exactly what you want, use the search box and the drop down lists.
