"Dr. Val Urbonaite graduated from St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies in January of 2018. Her clinical year was completed at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Arts dual degree in Biology and Spanish from Drew University in Madison, NJ in 2014. Dr. Urbonaite enjoyed being involved with community outreach in Grenada where she volunteered for One Health One Medicine - an organization that provided veterinary medical care and surgical clinics free of charge to the island. While in Athens, GA, Dr. Urbonaite enjoyed volunteering her time at Gwinnett County Animal Shelter spay/neuter program along with the Humane Society of Athens. Her interests remain preventative/zoonotic medicine, internal medicine, surgery/dental procedures, and continuing education.
Aside from veterinary medicine, Dr. Urbonaite enjoys being outdoors and hiking, the beach, reading, her mixed dog Star, traveling and spending time with family.
Having spent the last few years in Southern NJ, Dr. Urbonaite has recently moved back to be closer to family. She found a fantastic team to join at Andover Animal Hospital and she is excited to get to know you, your family and your pets!
