Exotic Pets
Yes, we do see and treat pets other than cats and dogs! We see pets such as hamsters, gerbils, rats, chinchillas, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, ferrets, and rabbits.
Dr. Hummel has a particular interest in reptiles, and will gladly treat your turtle, snake, or iguana as well as counsel you on important husbandry requirements for these pets.
Birds
We do not treat birds, however. Birds have very particular hospitalization requirements, therefore if needed we refer these pets to a hospital specialized in caring for them:
